  • Making a difference

    Bucks County Courier Times

Many people are unaware of state Rep. Steve Santarsiero's career history. Steve started out as an attorney. In fact, he was working as an attorney Sept. 11, 2001, when he witnessed from his office window in Newark, N.J., the horror of that day.

This was a life changing moment for Steve, who decided to change his career and make a difference by becoming a high school teacher. Steve went to school at night while continuing to work and support his family. Steve taught at Bensalem High School for four years. Over time he realized that he could have an even greater impact by serving in the state House of Representatives, where he has built a solid record of fighting for our community and state.

However, the teacher in Steve still lives on. Last spring, he created a new, all-volunteer, afterschool program in Pennsbury and Council Rock to help keep students on the right track. Let's keep Steve Santarsiero working for us; send him back to Harrisburg.
